THE PROGRAM’S UNIQUENESS & YOUR TAKE-AWAY

Pranala Yoga TTC200 is a residential retreat in Ubud, Bali providing the practical knowledge and skills to be an authentic and  inspirational yoga teacher. In addition to the asana and applied anatomy, our course also will explore the diverse  traditional teachings of Yoga, its history and philosophy. We’ll also introduce you to the advanced techniques of meditation and pranayama, as well as the principles of Ayurveda. Pranala Yoga is an inner journey to connect to the spirit within –  as your source and support, and success multiplicator.

With our teachers’ guidance, you will embody invaluable teaching skills in reading and supporting individuals and classes. This will enable you to craft classes supporting deeper healing and transformation. This training also provides an introduction to the traditional yoga practices and philosophies shared in the ancient yogic scriptures, knowledge that will bring meaning and depth to your personal practice and classes.

BEAUTIFUL SPACE

Nālandā is located in Penestanan Kelod / Ubud at only 5 minutes walking distance from your accommodation.

Our Yoga school and retreat place boasts a lush garden with temple sights, high-ceiling wooden-floored consecrated studio space with wood carved details, jungle view and river access. The venue’s capacity is to host up to  50 people at once and it is the ideal  location for our yoga practice. Excursions to experience traditional Balinese culture and sacred power spots of the island are part of the program.

6:30am – 9:00am Meditation, Pranayama

Yoga Pranala is a harmonious blend of Vinyasa Flow (inspired by several yoga schools including the Sri T. Krishnamacharya’s lineage, Bihar School of Yoga and Hatha Yoga), Mudra Pranala (indigenous Balinese healing art focuses on balancing the alignment of our energy transmitted by Balinese shaman Tjokorda Rai), pranayama (breathing), Yoga Nidra (relaxation) and meditation for self-healing.

Meet The Faculty

Linda Madani

Linda Madani E-RYT500 is an inspired spiritual healer and yoga teacher. She has been living and practicing yoga on Bali since 1995, studying Pranala with respected Balinese healer Tjokorda Gde Rai.

Linda is a highly experienced teacher with students from throughout the world. She is registered yoga teacher with the International Yoga Alliance, a certified yoga therapist in both India and the USA and a member of the International Yoga Therapist Association.

Linda teaches throughout Asia and regularly leads yoga retreats on Bali. She is the owner and director of Intuitive Flow, Sanctuary for Yoga and Healing in Penestanan, Ubud, Bali where welcomes people with an open heart and shares the teachings and blessings she has received with much joy.

Savitri Devi

Savitri Devi E-RYT500, RPYT, RCYT is a Bali born inter-disciplinary Yoga & meditation teacher and Indonesia’s first Kundalini Research Institute Professional Teacher Trainer.

With a passion for pranayama, meditation, mantra & mudra, as well as Yoga history, literature & philosophy, I weave the physical and philosophical aspects of Yoga with daily spiritual practice, making this ancient wisdom applicable for today’s lifestyle. My classes are holistic, safe and they help the students to be centred, suitable for beginners and seasoned practitioners looking to deepen their practice with deep self-inquiry.

After having taught for a few years at the 200-hour Yoga Pranala Intensive Teacher Training program from its inception, I now teach the Pranayama component of the 200-hour program, and the Prenatal Yoga component in the 300-hour program.

Also a Yoga Alliance continuing education provider, I have taught at Yoga conferences & festivals and Yoga teachers’ training programs, curated & facilitated Yoga & wellness retreats internationally.
Other than being a Yoga & meditation teacher, practitioner and teacher trainer, I am also a holistic wellness & spiritual lifestyle coach, labour & post-partum doula, and Reiki Master Teacher. Teaches : Hatha yoga - Asana

Sandi Kalifadani

Ubud-based yoga teacher, musician and artist Sandi Kalifadani has been a dedicated explorer of yoga since 2002. He has also been studying zen meditation and several healing methods that include zen counselling, jin shin jyutsu, hypnotherapy, NLP, bringing many elements of these practices into his yoga teachings.

Sandi is a Yoga Alliance certified yoga teacher and has taught yoga for 14 years. In his teaching, Sandi uniquely combines aspects of iyengar yoga, ashtanga yoga and vinyasa yoga, bringing a wonderful mix of longer-held postures, deep stretching, slow flow, and meditation, modified for all levels of practitioner. Also as a Yoga Alliance certified children’s yoga teacher, he taught yoga classes for children and disable children for 4 years.

Off the mat Sandi is a musician, DJ, a multimedia artist and works for several art exhibitions.

Dr. Sujatha Kekada

Dr. Sujatha Kekada is a certified Ayurvedic Dr. (B.A.M.S), who completed her degree in Karnataka, India. Dr. Kekada has worked as an Ayurvedic Doctor in one of the most respected and successful clinics in Kerala, South India. She has also practiced as a consultant in Europe and at one of the top health retreats in Asia-Como Shambala. She is the Co-Founder & Chief Physician of Amrta Siddhi, an Ayurveda & Yoga Health Centre located on the outskirts of Ubud, in the hills of Central Bali.
